- 天顶壁画最著名的一小块，被单独割下来做成了独立的一幅。左边是亚当：棕色的头发贴着头皮，眼睛半睁着望向对面，身体从暗绿色与赭色的地景里斜着躺出来，膝盖弯起，腹部被光拉成一条长线。右边是上帝，被一群挤在一起的天使托着，粉白与深红的披风在空中鼓成一团，他的手臂从袍子里伸出来，食指弯着，朝左点过去。中间那一段是空的：两个身体占了画面两端，中间的米白色底子上什么都没有，谁也没碰到谁。这幅画原本是西斯廷礼拜堂天顶的一千多平方米壁画中的一小块，一九八〇年被从顶上揭下来，贴在梵蒂冈博物馆的独立展厅里，用专用材料复制后再挂回原位。天顶的湿壁画颜料含铅，非常脆，取下来的做法其实是把它揭下来做复制品，原件留在原处…
