- 《朱迪斯斩杀荷罗孚尼》约作于 1612—1613 年（一说 1610 年前后），是阿尔泰米西娅·真蒂莱斯基二十岁上下的作品，今藏那不勒斯卡波迪蒙特美术馆；约十年后她在佛罗伦萨又画了同题材的第二版。故事出自《友弟德传》：亚述将军荷罗孚尼围城，醉酒之后被以色列女子朱迪斯与她的女仆割下头颅。这个题材传统上多画结果——她提着人头站在帐外；这幅画偏偏停在中间那一秒：刀还没走完，血已经喷出来，男人的手臂仍在挣。构图是两条斜线交叉，朱迪斯下压的手臂与女仆俯下的身体把躯干夹在正中。背景不留任何信息，光像一盏硬灯直打在三具身体上，蓝、红、白三块颜色在黑里各自独立，边缘切得极硬。此画的订件记录至今不明，1827…
