- 一片金黄的麦田横贯画面，占了下方约三分之二，麦穗被风吹得倒伏、翻涌，用急促的黄绿笔触堆成起伏的浪。麦田上方是深蓝近黑的天空，几处惨白的云裂开，透出微弱的光。一群黑乌鸦正掠过，有的贴着麦梢，有的没入暗蓝天幕，方向凌乱。几条小径从前景切进田里：中间一条红绿相间的路直直伸向深处，却在中途断了方向。这幅画是梵高一八九〇年七月在奥维尔画的，画布被拉成近乎双正方形，天地之间只剩这片躁动的黄与压顶的蓝。传统上它被当作他的遗书，但研究者提醒，同期他还画了平静的《多比尼花园》，把一张画读成自杀预兆，多半是后人的附会。它现藏阿姆斯特丹梵高博物馆。他没有画地平线的尽头，麦田一直推到画外，天也一直推到画外，两块颜色…
