- 一丛鸢尾花横满画面，花与叶从四边都被切断，像镜头凑得太近。中景与右侧是十几株开足的蓝紫鸢尾，花瓣外缘浅蓝，向内翻成深紫，花心点一小撮黄白；叶子像剑一样从根部射出，淡绿中脉两侧压着深绿。左上一朵白鸢尾独自开着，是整片蓝紫里唯一的意外。这幅画作于一八八九年五月，梵高住进圣雷米精神病院才一个月，花园就是他当时唯一能画的地方。他把它画成了一面墙，而不是桌案上的一束花：没有花瓶，没有剪刀，也没有人在看。厚涂的颜料成条挤在布上，叶与花瓣几乎都勾了深色轮廓，这种硬边和平涂，来自他着迷的日本浮世绘。花丛不透视、不渐远，红的土、蓝的花各自摊平，靠边缘线分开——这正是他把一株野花放大到纪念碑尺度的办法。它现藏于…
